Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative and proceed on a scenic drive to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. En route, cross the historic Coronation Bridge over the Teesta River and pass through lush tea gardens and the Dooars floodplains. On arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in your first glimpses of the Bhutanese Himalayas. Overnight: Phuentsholing

After completing immigration formalities and breakfast, begin your journey to Thimphu. En route, visit Kharbandi Gompa, offering panoramic views of the plains and beautiful Buddhist murals. Continue through Gedu town and stop at the scenic Taktichu Pass with its waterfall. Visit the Chukha Hydroelectric Project area and later stop at Chuzom, the confluence of the Paro and Thimphu rivers, famous for its three distinct chortens. Continue along the Thimphu River and arrive in Thimphu for check-in. Overnight: Thimphu

After breakfast, explore the highlights of Thimphu starting with the Memorial Chorten, a revered spiritual landmark. Visit the National Library, home to ancient manuscripts and the world’s largest published book. Continue to the majestic Buddha Dordenma Statue, offering breathtaking views of the Thimphu Valley. Later visit the Post Office Museum, the Institute of Zorig Chusum (traditional arts & crafts school), and the Folk Heritage Museum. Conclude the day at Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government and monastic body. Overnight: Thimphu

After breakfast, drive to Paro with a stop again at Chuzom for photographs. Visit Thamchok Lhakhang, accessible via an iron suspension bridge built by Thangthong Gyelpo. On arrival in Paro, explore Ta Dzong (National Museum) showcasing Bhutanese art, textiles, and rare stamps. Later visit Paro Dzong, an architectural masterpiece overlooking the Paro Valley. Spend time exploring Paro town and local markets before returning to the hotel. Overnight: Paro

After breakfast, proceed towards the Paro Valley to visit Drukgyel Dzong, a historic fortress ruin with views of Mount Jomolhari (weather permitting). Continue to the trailhead for the iconic hike to Taktsang Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff face. The trek takes approximately 5 hours round trip through pine forests, offering stunning viewpoints of the monastery. After the hike, return to the hotel for rest. Overnight: Paro

After breakfast, check out and drive back towards Phuentsholing via Chuzom and Chukha, enjoying the scenic river valleys and mountain landscapes one last time. On arrival, check in to the hotel and enjoy leisure time for shopping or relaxation. Overnight: Phuentsholing
