Itinerary
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station and drive to Gangtok via the scenic Teesta River valley. Check in to the hotel.
Evening free to stroll around MG Marg, Gangtok’s vibrant pedestrian boulevard.
Overnight: Gangtok
After early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo (Changu) Lake, a stunning glacial lake surrounded by snow-clad peaks. Continue to Nathula Pass (subject to permits, weather & army regulations).
On return, visit Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, and Tashi View Point for panoramic views of Gangtok and the eastern Himalayas.
Overnight: Gangtok
Note: Nathula Pass visit is strictly subject to permit availability and weather/army conditions.
After breakfast, drive to Lachen, a high-altitude village in North Sikkim. En route cross Chungthang, enjoy waterfalls and scenic mountain landscapes. Evening free for rest and acclimatisation.
Overnight: Lachen
Early morning drive to the sacred Gurudongmar Lake (approx. 17,800 ft), one of the highest lakes in the world. After spending time at the lake, return to Lachen for lunch and continue towards Lachung.
Overnight: Lachung
After breakfast, visit Yumthang Valley (Valley of Flowers) and proceed to Zero Point (subject to road & weather conditions). Later, drive back to Gangtok.
Overnight: Gangtok
Drive towards Ravangla and visit Buddha Park (Tathagata Tsal), set amidst serene Himalayan surroundings. Continue to Pelling, famous for Kanchenjunga views. Evening free at leisure.
Overnight: Pelling
After breakfast, visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, and the Pelling Sky Walk & Chenrezig Statue. Later drive to Namchi and check in.
Overnight: Namchi
After breakfast, visit Samdruptse Hill (giant Guru Padmasambhava statue) and Char Dham (Siddhesvara Dham). Later proceed to Darjeeling, the Queen of the Hills. Evening free at Mall Road / Chowrasta.
Overnight: Darjeeling
Early morning visit Tiger Hill for sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (weather permitting), followed by Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Later enjoy tea garden views and leisure time.
Overnight: Darjeeling
After breakfast, check out and drive to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for departure.
